Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger has said the Bavarian giants should do all they can to sign Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer from Champions League semi-finalists Schalke 04.
Neuer, 25, has already told the Royal Blues he will not extend his contract which expires in 2012 and Bayern have made no secret of the fact they want to sign him for next season.
Despite suffering a 2-0 home defeat to Manchester United last Tuesday in the Champions League and a 4-1 Bundesliga hammering in Munich on Saturday, Neuer has impressed with a series of outstanding displays.
He said on Saturday he wants to remain in Germany once he leaves Schalke -- ruling out a move to Premier League giants Man Utd, where manager Sir Alex Ferguson is keen to sign him.
Having become Germany's first-choice goalkeeper at the World Cup, Bayern are reported to be ready to pay 20 million euros for Neuer and vice-captain Schweinsteiger says he is worth every cent.
